New 'Complete Comfort' Dental Practice Opens in West Chester, PA

New 'Complete Comfort' Dental Practice Opens in West Chester, PA

The "Dentistry is good for you" mantra will never create enough positive oral health habits. Dr. Ron Briglia of West Chester, PA has understood this dilemma for many years. This knowledge and an entrepreneurial spirit put him on the road to develop a practice that makes dental care more appealing for those with anxieties, fears or value concerns. On November 16, a Sunday, from noon to four, Dr. Briglia, an IV sedation certified dentist, opens his dental office to showcase the comfort elements he provides and renewing smile health now possible.

West Chester, PA (PRWEB) November 10, 2008

Dr. Ron Briglia opened his new practice at 600 E. Marshall in West Chester this fall. It serves dental consumers in southeastern Pennsylvania who want and need a high level of comfort to achieve their oral health goals. After many years developing the skills, services, and expertise to provide long-term health and esthetically pleasing results for his patients, he now has the environment to match. One where stress is greatly reduced, pain is absent, and informed decisions can be made.

The new facility is about one mile from his original West Chester office. While the geographical distance is minimal, the transformation of the environment goes noticeably farther than both his former setting and that of other practices in the area. The change is crucial for many reasons including decreasing acute oral health problems.

According to statistics from various national health organizations, more than 50% of the population avoids seeing the dentist on even a yearly basis, and this problem is not limited to lower income households. Much avoidance can be attributed to fear, embarrassment, and phobia. With almost 24% of adults having lost all their teeth by age 65 in Pennsylvania alone (source CDC), there is a serious need for changing how dentistry is presented and delivered.

The potential for helping people with various dental needs is significant because of Dr. Briglia's unique certification in both IV and oral sedation, and expertise in comprehensive dentistry. Combined with an advanced, calming environment, the likelihood of encouraging those people to come forward is greatly improved.

While clinical results and treatment comfort are paramount, Dr. Briglia knows the setting matters too. To remove stress and achieve a higher level of receptivity for complex and necessary treatment, patients are calmed with a rock waterfall, a secluded relaxation area, heated massage chair, appropriately spacious restroom, various spa elements, and refreshments. For those who need distractions, he provides DVDs, Internet, soothing music, satellite radio, Cable TV, and wireless headphones. Visit ComfortableDental. com to see and find out more.

His practice mission goes beyond comfort amenities to achieve the trust, respect, and value missing in too many situations. Dr. Briglia wants to make sure his patients get more from their dental care:

  •   Respect for their condition not a rush to treatment
  • Calm, pleasant, and thorough presentation of the possibilities
  • Smile care for consumers who want a dentist focused health on first
  • Proper sedation to cover all treatments from implants to oral surgery
  • Sedation when acceptable to the patient and applicable to their situation
  • No reason to travel from place to place: most specialty procedures performed onsite
  • Responsible recommendations with options that make the treatment financially possible

"For years, I have been planning and dreaming of this type of setting. A place that truly complements all the advanced continuing education courses I have taken and the level of dental care my team and I can provide. The new practice spotlights the major changes in dentistry since I graduated from Temple Dental School in 1984."

"As one of the few dentists in Southeastern Pennsylvania certified in oral AND IV Sedation dental care for the fearful, phobic, and time challenged, I wanted to develop an advanced dental 'suite' design makes calm, clear, and informed decisions possible. Making optimum oral health decisions first; then determine a clinically sound, esthetically pleasing, and financially feasible way to get it done." Dr. Ron Briglia

Interview Dr. Briglia and discover how his dental practice makeover and expertise make it possible for consumers in West Chester and southeastern Pennsylvania to attain a much healthier lifestyle.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 5, 2009

Eric Addeo announces the launch of AMI (Addeo Music International): a multi-genre, international booking agency located in New York City dedicated to progressive and roots music. Following a twelve-year tenure at jazz booking agency Joel Chriss & Co., Addeo formed AMI to meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment.

As the music industry evolves, AMI is devoted to creating new endeavors and to the advancement of live performance. AMI's unique Jazz Audience Development Program (JADP) targets non-music students at colleges and universities and exposes them to jazz artists and their music through interactive discussion and performance. AMI's corporate division, CorpJazz, creates brand-specific programs to suit the needs of corporate and convention audiences.

AMI will offer artists and clients personalized, boutique service through focused touring initiatives and management of international performances through a network of AMI-affiliated agencies. AMI's exclusive roster includes some of the most culturally significant and forward thinking artists in the world:

Eric Alexander, Mose Allison, Ernestine Anderson, Henry Butler, Gerald Clayton, Lou Donaldson, Paquito D'Rivera, Eldar, Arturo O'Farrill, Aaron Goldberg, Tom Harrell, Maceo Parker, Ken Peplowski, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, David Sanchez, Pharoah Sanders, Tomasz Stanko, Jacky Terrasson, Yosvany Terry, Steve Turre, and Matt Wilson.

Additional AMI-exclusive groups and projects include:

  • Arturo O'Farrill's Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra / Ballet Hispanico: Palladium Nights
  • Brazilian Nights: The Music of Jobim featuring Trio da Paz (Romero Lubambo, Nilson Matta and Duduka Da Fonseca), Harry Allen, Joe Locke, and Maucha Adnet
  • Ken Peplowski's Benny Goodman Centennial Celebration
  • Mingus Dynasty, Big Band, Orchestra and Epitaph: 50th Anniversary of Ah Um, Dynasty and Blues and Roots
  • New Orleans All-Stars featuring Cyril Neville, Henry Butler and George Porter Jr.
  • Steve Turre's Sanctified Shell Choir
  • Still Black, Still Proud: Pee Wee Ellis's African Tribute to James Brown
  • Trio Da Paz (Romero Lubambo, Nilson Matta and Duduka Da Fonseca)

Major shifts in the jazz world, including trends toward multi-genre programming, present exciting opportunities for a more grassroots approach in both recording and touring. AMI, along with its artists, is exploring new ways to focus artistic vision, build core audiences through educational and community outreach, and connect to a new generation of fans that listen without boundaries. With this goal in mind, AMI will be announcing plans within the next year for a record label and a New Jersey based music festival.

About Eric Addeo
Eric graduated from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts with a Jazz Performance degree in 1992. From 1993 to 1995, Eric worked at MTV in the News and Special Projects Division and on several Unplugged episodes. Eric joined Joel Chriss and Co. in 1996, and during his twelve-year tenure was responsible for booking its extensive roster internationally. During this time Eric worked with virtually every promoter internationally and has traveled to more than forty countries. "I feel travel is the only way to truly understand different cultures and markets. One on one, face-to-face interaction builds lasting and meaningful collaborations and friendships. We communicate through email faster than we can think and have come to undervalue the importance of sitting down, listening and getting to know one another."

As a drummer, Eric continues to record and perform internationally. In addition to his mainstay, The Fins, Eric has shared the stage with BB King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Robert Cray, John Mayall, Johnny Winter, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, AC Reed, KoKo Taylor, Mitch Woods, Ronnie Earl, Otis Rush, Bobby Rush, Mick Taylor, Wilson Pickett, Rod Piazza, Keb' Mo', Hubert Sumlin and Robert Plant.
