Arthur C. Erickson Re-Designs Landmark Building in Coal Harbour
Vancouver's Evergreen Building to Become Luxury Residences
(PRWEB) September 27, 2004
The landmark Evergreen Building in the heart of Coal Harbour at 1285 West Pender St. will soon become the Coal Harbour Residences by Arthur Erickson. Its original Canadian architectural designer, the noteworthy and visionary Arthur Erickson, will remodel this 25-year-old landmark building for its renaissance expected in spring 2006.
The Coal Harbour Residences by Arthur Erickson will feature large, luxurious apartments, with decks, designer kitchens, 10 foot high ceilings, and sweeping views of Coal Harbour. These features will make the apartments a unique find for the discerning buyer.
ÂThese residences are an exclusive offering in an area that is quickly becoming known as the Riviera of Canada for all the international residents it is attracting, and for local residents who enjoy the Coal Harbour lifestyle, says George Wong of Platinum Project Marketing Group, MacDonald Realty Ltd. which is marketing the high end condos.
The essence of the development application outlines the conversion of all of the office space into lush, haut-de-gamme and uniquely designed residences, and town homes. The new project will maintain its distinguished and unique concrete architectural façade complete with hanging greenery on the spacious terraces. An addition of four stories, a penthouse and a roof top garden are implemented in the project on the already existing ten story high building totaling over 100,000 square feet.
These exclusive residences will have an average size of 1,500 square feet, with a penthouse of close to 5,000 square feet. Re-designed exclusively by Arthur Erickson, the 69 residences will each hold a unique cachet. Because of their prime location, the future owners will also enjoy their own spectacular view of the Stanley Park seawall and Marina from their private terraces.
This real-estate project will break ground over the next few months. The Platinum Project Marketing Group, MacDonald Realty Ltd, will make these luxurious properties available for home buyers expected in October 2004. Occupancy is anticipated for spring of 2006. The prices will be an average of $1 million, and up to $4 million Canadian dollars.
