EF Educational Tours Offers Free Training Tours for Teachers to Beijing

EF's Free International Training Tours provide U. S. teachers an opportunity to travel to China this summer while learning how to create successful educational tours for their students.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) March 22, 2010

EF Educational Tours, the world's leading educational travel company, recently announced that it is expanding its popular teacher training program and is now offering free tours for U. S. teachers to travel to Beijing, China, this summer.

"China has become such a focal point for educators and travelers the past couple of years, and we've seen an increased demand to experience Chinese culture," EF Executive Vice President Kate Berseth said. "We're excited to provide this once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity for our teachers."

First-time EF Group Leaders who enroll at least five participants on a 2011 educational tour with EF are eligible to attend EF's Free International Training Tour (http://www. eftours. com/teacher-travel/leading-a-tour/paris-orientation. aspx) in Beijing, China, on July 20-25, 2010. The free, weeklong training tour includes round-trip airfare to Beijing, accommodations, meals and sightseeing. Group leaders will visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and other ancient and modern sights in the Chinese capital. They also will enjoy an evening kung fu exhibition and a daylong excursion to the Great Wall of China.

Beijing is the newest destination for EF's hugely popular Free International Training Tours, which are held several times a year in Paris and Rome. The goal of the training tours is to prepare first-time EF Group Leaders for their upcoming student tours with EF by experiencing a sample educational tour abroad. The training tour includes a half-day seminar to exchange ideas with EF staff and experienced group leaders on how to create successful and rewarding educational tours (http://www. eftours. com) for student travelers.

"We believe that it's important to prepare these outstanding teachers to lead students on international educational tours," Berseth said, "and there's no better way than by offering free tours for teachers to experience destinations such as Paris, Rome and now Beijing."
