Industrial Auctioneer Opens Fifth Office!!!!

Industrial Auctioneer Opens Fifth Office!!!!

(PRWEB) August 13, 2000

For Immediate Release

Industrial Assets, Inc., one of North AmericaÂ’s largest industrial machinery & equipment auctioneers and appraisal companies has opened a new office in Baltimore, MD. With this new office, they now have offices in Colorado, Florida, Montreal and corporate offices in California.

Stan Smith, Vice President of Sales for the East Coast office, and a Certified Equipment Appraiser, will operate the office, located in the Empire Towers Building at 7310 Ritchie Highway, Suite 403 in Glen Burnie. Mr. Smith, a Baltimore native who worked for another local auctioneer for 25 years, doesnÂ’t expect to be in his office much. His duties require him to travel all over North America and Europe meeting with potential clients. He averages about 150 flights a year. Nonetheless, his office location was an easy pick because of its proximity to Baltimore-Washington International airport.

Mr. Smith is always looking for companies that are closing; downsizing or consolidating that may have a large quantity of excess machinery and equipment or processing equipment they want to sell or dispose of. Once he meets with a client and then signs an agreement to sell the equipment, Industrial Assets then offers the machinery at public auction. They are also venturing into having their on-site auction sales broadcast live over the Internet so buyers can bid from the comfort of their computers.
