Creatively told as a story within a story, Peter M. begins as a young journalist, Warren Clark, seeks out an old, reclusive writer named Thomas Brighton, who is finally granting his first interview. After a tortuous journey into the small town of Cleventon, Warren finds his man and settles in to hear the storytellerÂ’s magic. As the tale of Peter M. unfolds, it is up to Warren to discover the mysterious writerÂ’s best-kept secret.
Set in the distant past, PeterÂ’s story begins in the small town of Bakewell, where he spent his childhood with his cousins. As he matures, he finds himself in a constant search for his true self and feels as if he belongs to another era in time.
Throughout Peter M., gradual changes in perception that come with age are documented. Peter and his friends encounter difficult situations and momentous events on the path toward their individual destinies. Life is sometimes a cruel teacher, but the teenagers remain united by their deep bonds.
“With my writing, I try to transmit what everyone needs and feels — serenity and love,” Felletti writes. “At times, our world today treats us with an uncomforting hostility; because of this, we need to find our own, individual equilibrium. This book is Peter’s own personal thoughts and reflections on life and love.”
Felletti hails from Italy, where he works in the tourism industry. Peter M. is this young author’s first U. S. publication. He has published some books in his native country under the pen name, Arty Aaron. These works include: Peter MacReady, The Branches of Destiny, My Friend Fanny and A Truly Buzzly Story. His two poetry books are Innocent Thoughts and Reflections. He is passionate about traveling and exploring diverse cultures. Deeply impacted by his natural environment, Felletti asserts, “We need to stop and listen to the wind more in order to hear what nature is trying to tell us.”
