Branson Tourism Center celebrates six years of phenomenal growth.

Not many people get the opportunity to successfully convert their passion into their livelihood. Still less get to do it in a manner that instantly and directly helps build the economic base of their community. Six years ago, Lianne Milton, with a dream and two employees, seized the opportunity to do just that and launched Branson Tourism Center (BTC). The rest is a phenomenal success story based on leadership, commitment, personal relationships, and a passion for serving Branson and its visitors.
Recently celebrating its sixth anniversary, BTC has become Branson's largest provider of Branson travel services and employs about 100 people. Milton credits BTC’s phenomenal success with being able to establish relationships and work with vendors and employees having a common passion. She describes that common passion as "bringing visitors to Branson by providing them with the best information, value, and travel services and ensuring that they have a great entertainment experience while in Branson."
She said it all starts with the uniqueness and quality of the entertainment product that Branson has to offer. BTC is devoted to marketing and selling that product to the world because, in her estimation, the economic base of BTC depends on the same thing the economic base of Branson depends on: Visitors coming to Branson and buying that product.
Milton believes that the great success BTC has enjoyed is because of its basic business philosophy of bringing new visitors and return visitors back to Branson and not devoting a lot of marketing effort trying to intercept them after they get to Branson. She emphasized her belief that BTC is a marketing partner with their vendor shows, attractions, restaurants, lodging facilities and other Branson businesses to ensure a constant flow of visitors into Branson.
She points out that BTC invests a substantial amount of its resources in marketing outside of the immediate Branson area and that the vast majority of the tickets, lodging, and other Branson travel services BTC sells are sold to visitors generated by BTC's own marketing before they ever get to Branson. While using state of the art and leading edge technology, Milton is passionate about BTC's core business of providing a personal, no service charge, "concierge" service to potential Branson visitors. This personal service gives them the opportunity to work one on one with a trained BTC Travel Specialist over the phone and has an almost legendary reputation for customer service and excellence.
Larry Milton, Lianne's husband and co-owner of BTC, points out that BTC's marketing efforts include BTC's acquisition and operation of www. Branson. com, Branson’s oldest and most trafficked commercial website; www. BransonTourismCenter. com, the heart of BTC's vaunted individual concierge type service; and www. BransonOnTheWeb. com, a web booking engine for consumers and use by Travel Agents, and affiliates participating in cooperative marketing programs with BTC. CelebrateInBranson. com and is constantly looking for ways to better serve their vendors and Branson’s visitors.
