New Blog for Just-Launched WeCareForYourDog. com Educates Pet Owners, Encourages Dialogue

Paul and Sheila Fletcher, owners of FIM Marketing, have opened a new online pet safety store at www. WeCareForYourDog. com, and in turn have begun a blog at FIMMarketing. com to educate their customers on pet safety and new products.

Cheektowaga, NY (PRWEB) February 4, 2008

"We have always loved animals, and we wanted to find a way for dogs to be safe, whether at home, walking, traveling, or hunting," say Paul and Sheila Fletcher, owners of FIM Marketing and the new pet safety site, www. WeCareForYourDog. com. The new web site definitely reflects this mindset, showcasing a variety of products from behavior collars to pet carriers, all selected for their quality and usefulness. More than anything, however, the proof that Paul and Sheila are animal lovers comes in the form of their new blog, www. FIMMarketing. com.

"We want to let customers know the importance of helping dogs that are not fortunate enough to have loving owners," they explain, outlining the purpose of the informational site. "Our mission is to donate a percentage of our sales to the local SPCA and dog rescue organizations. Our prices may not be the cheapest, but we have a mission to make sure all dogs have loving owners, and that someone is taking care of them."

Even without the knowledge that every purchase is a donation, customers are still getting great value for each carefully-chosen item on the Fletchers' new site. "We felt that anyone who has a pet should feel assured that their furry loved on is safe and out of harm's way. We chose only quality products that come from reputable manufacturers, and we stand behind these products to the fullest." What do they recommend for pet owners? "One of our favorite products is the RoamEO GPS Dog Locator. It helps pet owners find their lost animals."

The Fletchers encourage all visitors to their WeCareForYourDog. com site to also visit their www. FIMMarketing. com blog to learn more about pet safety, and to share their own thoughts and experiences.

Bangkok, Thailand (PRWEB) April 8, 2010

Go Asia is a marketing network which specializes in marketing "Destination Asia". The target is to increase tourist traffic to Asia and to promote awareness of its individual members.

The results of the annual Go Asia Awards were announced at the 2010 gala award ceremony hosted in conjunction with ITB Berlin, the world's biggest tourism fair. The best service providers for travel to Asia were honoured.

Thailand won a total of four Go Asia Awards in 2010.

  • The Kingdom of Thailand received the Go Asia Award in the Best Asian Destination (http://syndacast. com/go/ThailandWinGoAsiaAwards) category. Prior to this, Thailand has received the Go Asia Award for Best Destination in Asia for five consecutive years from 2005.
  •   The Tourism Authority of Thailand was voted the Best Asian Tourist Board in Germany (http://syndacast. com/go/ThailandWinGoAsiaAwards) category for the second consecutive year.
  •   Thai Airways International, the national carrier, was named the 'Best Asian Airline (http://syndacast. com/go/ThailandWinGoAsiaAwards)' for the seventh time at this year's Go Asia award ceremony. This year, THAI regained it position and came in first place.
  •   Siam@Siam Hotel won the 'Best Asian Hotel (http://syndacast. com/go/ThailandWinGoAsiaAwards)' award.

The 'Go Asia' award includes participation by Go Asia members, consisting primarily of tour operators who offer outstanding Asia programmes, airlines, and tourism boards. First launched in 2004, the award programme is organized in cooperation with media partners - Travel Talk magazine (B2B, Niedecken Verlag) and Reise und Preise Magazine (B2B, Reise & Preise Verlags GmbH).

In addition to honouring truly committed corporations and businesses, the Go Asia survey is also meant to provide an overview of the perception of the German market of Asia as a travel destination. Travel agents as well as individual consumers from all over Germany were invited to participate in the voting process.

Since 2005, the Go Asia Awards have been presented in five award categories. These are Most Favoured Asian Destination, Best Asian Tourist Board in Germany, Best Asian Airlines, and Best German Tour Operator for Asian Destination.

In 2009, two new award categories were added. These are:

  • The Best Asian Hotel/Hotel Chain category, a special media award, being presented by Travel Talk magazine, and
  • Most Innovative Packaged Tour
This is a special award, the winner of which was determined by a jury consisting of the Go Asia media partners — Reise und Preise and the trade magazine Travel Talk, the Go Asia Board and professors representing the bbw Hochschule university's faculty of tourism.

Judges also voted for the most admired destination in Asia (http://syndacast. com/go/ThailandWinGoAsiaAwards).

The awards are based on a comprehensive online survey among all registered users and more than 2,600 people participated in the vote in 2010. For the first time, votes were conducted on end-consumer and travel agent feedback.

The respective three winners in each category were announced at the 11 March gala award ceremony. Each was presented with a certificate and a crystal award.

The Go Asia initiative was founded in 2003 in order to enhance marketing in German-speaking regions. The goal is achieved by joint marketing activities, such as the Go Asia website, participation in exhibitions and trade fairs, media relations and training initiatives.

Ramen Revolution Reveals Celebrity's "Inner Otaku"

The growing 100% student television show, Ramen Revolution, has began its quest to introduce artists that were previously not associated with anime or Asian pop culture to the growing sub-culture in America of Otaku, fans of anime.

Riverside, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2008

The growing 100% student television show, Ramen Revolution, has began its quest to introduce artists that were previously not associated with anime or Asian pop culture to the growing sub-culture in America of Otaku, fans of anime.

Ramen Revolution is a movement to spread Asian pop culture and anime by revolutionizing the entertainment industry through the creation of television shows that are made by otaku for otaku.

Ramen Revolution started with very humble beginnings, but has recently attracted the attention of rap celebrity Crooked I, creator of songs such as "Still Tha Row" and "Boom Boom Clap." Crooked I, formerly with Death Row Records, having created a song featuring hip hop and R&B superstar Akon, and being vice-president of his own record label, dynasty, is not highly associated with anime, but is actually a fan of anime himself. A fan of such animes as Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, and Ninja Scroll, Crooked I is to be featured in a comedy sketch and have an interview on Ramen Revolution's season finale. In the interview Crooked I explains how he got into Anime as a child, how he is going to be traveling to Japan in December, and much more about his love of anime.

Crooked I is following suit with other popular rap and hip-hop artists, such as Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, and the Rza, who have recently expressed their love of Japanese animation and introduced Asian pop Culture into their music, projects, and style.

By featuring Crooked I, Ramen Revolution hopes to continue the spread of the idea that anime and Asian pop culture is not just something for nerds but something that can be enjoyed by all people. Anime is the perfect example that everyone can take time and admire different aspects of diverse cultures.

Ramen Revolution airs on Saturday nights at 12:30 a. m. on KSCI channel 18-LA.
