Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 20, 2007

Sofitel hotels, the luxury brand of Accor hotels, received several mentions in the annual Readers' Choice Awards, featured in this month's issue of Condé Nast Traveler. Among the nine Sofitels named, two North American Sofitels were included.

Sofitel Chicago Water Tower listed 64 among the Top 100 Mainland U. S. Hotels and Sofitel Montreal received the 24 spot on the Top 25 Canada Hotels.

"We are honored to be listed among these elite hotels as the choice of so many discerning travelers and readers of such an established publication as Condé Nast Traveler," said David O'Shaughnessy, COO of Accor North America. "Our recognition on this prestigious list proves Sofitel's commitment to service and comfort for each guest we serve."

Sofitel Chicago Water Tower welcomes guests to the modern-designed hotel, which adds to the rich architectural legacy of the Windy City. Designed by French architect Jean-Paul Viguier, the 415-room hotel is located minutes from Chicago's Magnificent Mile, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Art Institute and the trendy boutiques of Michigan Avenue.

Considered among the best downtown Montreal hotels, Sofitel Montreal is located in the heart of the historic "Golden Square Mile" at the corner of Stanley and Sherbrooke Streets. Sofitel Montreal celebrates the French "art de vivire" by displaying works of contemporary art, offering a unique dining experience and an intimate bar.
