Bea starts her cruise in Toronto and zips across Lake Ontario, through the Welland Canal, and then to Lake Erie. She enjoys her voyage on the inland waterways as she also soaks up the sights and sounds of Lake Huron, Lake Superior, and Lake Michigan.

Bea's Great Uncle Ned worked on freighters on the Great Lakes starting at the age of 15. He enjoyed the experience so much that he wanted to share it with Bea. So he bought her a ticket to travel in style, on a cruise ship. He is eager to swap stories with her.

On board, the cruise offers a scavenger hunt. As Bea and her teammate solve the clues, they discover the legends and lore of the Great Lakes. With a handsome photographer as her her partner, Bea wonders if romance is also in the picture.
